You face a giant blue jelly and two giant red jellies. It’s in the last two waves where you may be challenged the most. You may still need to use some of the powerups to take out any blue jellies that manage to get through to the end, so it’s worth saving your power-ups for this purpose. In order to survive this level I built 3 “laseron” laser towers. The laser towers cause massive damage to all blue jellies. All you really ave to worry about is the hardy blue jellies. Once fully upgraded, this kill zone should pretty much see you through towards the end of the level. By upgrading the red cannon tower and the slow tower you’ll create a “kill zone” for all the red jellies. This will help by zapping lines of blue jellies and if it doesn’t kill them here, you will weaken them for other towers further round the level. When you get the blue laser tower, place it near the tree at the top. Research this tower as soon as you can, you’ll need it. You’ll have to start off with the blue “machinegun” tower, but the real key to this level is using the powerful blue “laseron” laser tower. This can make it a little easier to collect the coins for when the red and blue jellies come at the same time. I initially separated my red and blue towers with my blue towers being on the lower half of the map. This will slow down the fastest jellies and cause them all to bunch up, allowing your cannons to easily destroy them. You will benefit from researching a “Slow” tower and placing this at the start of your cannons. Some red jellies are fast and due to the slow firing rate of the cannons they are harder to destroy. Cannon towers are perfect for bunched up groups as they cause a large amount of “splash” damage which will (hopefully) destroy not only the jelly they target, but those around it also. The big red cannon towers will be the main workhorse of this level in order to eliminate the red jellies.

Instead, wait until you’ve placed more towers and upgraded them a little, that way you will get maximum use out of the level upgrader.

On the first wave you will get a Level-Up. You will not need to worry about the blue jellies until the fourth wave. The first few waves of jellies will be red jellies only. This just gives you a few extra coins at the end of each wave which may compensate for any coins which fall into the river. In order to compensate for this one of the first things that I did was to research the PiggyBank. My aim was to ensure that the majority of jellies were defeated before they crossed the bridge.Įven if you are entirely focused on collecting the coins the jellies drop you’ll find that you won’t be able to collect them all and you’ll lose some to the river. My main concept for winning this level is to ensure that most of the enemy jellies are defeated as soon as possible. The level is, in effect, split in two by the river in the middle.
